Gardening continues…

We have had a busy spring looking after our clients’ gardens despite the lockdown. Obviously we can work in gardens safely and we and our clients are used to discussing work whilst social distancing! For some people it is an opportunity for them to get to know their gardens better.

We have had some wonderful weather, but as we move into summer the need for rain is becoming more pressing. Even so, there is a lot of colour in our gardens. The one pictured below is a mix of shrubs and herbaceous perennials, with whites and blues very much the focus at this time of year. Currently in flower is a Cistus x hybridus in the foreground and Rosa Winchester Cathedral beyond it. At the back Spiraea Snowmound provides a backdrop to Nepeta Walker’s Low along with Iris sibirica White Swirl and Caesar’s Brother.
